With two climate-controlled locations—One West Superior St and 1613 W. Walnut St—we offer a welcoming environment designed for every tail-wagging personality.

Hi, I’m Angie—founder and hands-on owner of Happy Tails & Trails. My lifelong love for dogs led me to open our doors in 2001, after five years working as a veterinary assistant. I’ve spent my life learning how to care for animals, and I bring that passion into every moment with our pups.

I believe in the power of play, patience, and positive reinforcement to help dogs become well-adjusted companions. You’ll often find me on the floor with the pack, guiding social interactions and making sure every dog feels safe, seen, and loved.
