Dog Boarding

For customers who are going out of town or otherwise need their dogs supervised away from home, we offer dog boarding in Chicago, IL. Boarding your dog at Happy Tails & Trails provides your dog with lots of playtime, eight hours of sleep time and a regular feeding and bathroom schedule. A handler is onsite at all times to ensure pets’ safety, even during the night. Dogs appreciate the comfort, care and structure, and our customers love the peace of mind that comes along with knowing their beloved companions are in good hands.

Yours pups home away from home.  We offer a home setting with 3 acres of land. Limited spots available. Please call to make a reservation.
We book up fast.

Drop off hours for boarding is 3pm-7pm, if you drop off earlier daycare charges apply.

Pick up hours are 7am-11am, Pick up after 11 daycare charges apply.

We have allotted times for dropping off and picking up your pet. Doors open in the am between 7:00am-10:00 am we then close for the afternoon. Doors then reopen in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (This time is set aside so that all employees can be in the play area and lunches and grooming can be done). If you need to pick up or drop off outside of our allotted times please call or text beforehand to schedule a special request.

Boarding is exclusive to Happy Tails and Trails Customers. If you are in need of boarding you must follow the Enrollment process, be accepted into Happy Tails and Trails purchase a 10 pack of daycare and schedule 10 days of daycare before your boarding reservation. This is to protect our dogs, it reduces the chance of Illness, disease and allows the dog to get acclimated to the pack and our handlers.

Free Exit baths given after 4 days of boarding bath and towel dry.

A $25 fee late pick up fee 15 minutes after closing at 7pm.  After 15 min of closing your dog will automatically be boarded.

There will be a $25 cancellation fee if less than 48 hours notice for boarding.

There is a $20 holiday surcharge for boarding on holiday.
